Homeopathy is an evidence-based, non-toxic and non-additive......here are a few facts you may want to know

  • Homeopathy is an evidence-based therapeutic treatment.

  • There are over 4,000 homeopathic remedies that are tested on humans and not animals - this itself indicates how safe, non-toxic, non-addictive it is!

  • Every homeopathic medicine is made using one substance either plant, mineral or metal, etc. There is no mixture and the exact substance is known.

  • Homeopathic medicines are individualized to your presenting ailment and not categorized per diagnosis. Thus 10 people (including relatives) with asthma, for example, may all need a different homeopathic medicine.

  • Imbalance in health is presented by the body in the form of signs and symptoms. Homeopathy aims at treating these and hence establishing a diagnosis is not relevant in homeopathy.

  • WHO (World Health Organization) outlined a draft report that showed homeopathy was beneficial.

  • There have been more than 180 controlled and 118 randomized, trials into homeopathy, which were analyzed by four separate meta-analyses.  Conclusions: Benefits of homeopathy went far beyond that which could be explained purely by the placebo effect.

  • To become a Homeopathic Practitioners many countries like the England, India require a training for 4 years in Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, along with homeopathy pharmacopeia (Materia Medica & Repertory) & Philosophy.

  • In India there are around 100 homeopathic medical schools and 250,000 homeopathic doctors.

  • The homeopathic community has thousands of documented case notes, including video proofs that demonstrate its positive benefits.

  • The popularity of homeopathy has grown entirely through word of mouth and estimated to be growing at more than 20% a year the world over.

 

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

 

Q1. What if I'm already taking medication from my primary care physician (PCP) / general practictioner (GP)?

Answer: The remedies can be safely taken in conjunction with conventional medicine. An educated, trained and experienced homeopath would never preach that a patient simply stop taking their prescribed medication, especially if these medications are taken over a significant period of time.

 

Q2. Can I treat myself with homeopathic remedies?

Answer: You can use some remedies at home to treat first aid problems such as cuts, stings, minor burns and bruises. If you have treated yourself homeopathically, please inform your homeopath at your next consultation. It has become increasingly popular for parents to treat their children at home with homeopathic remedies for acute illnesses. This is to be encouraged, just as long as the acute episode is a one of. A frequently recurring problem is best left to someone who is trained in homeopathy

 

Q3. Do I have to believe in homeopathy for it to work for me?

Answer: No. If this was the case how would homeopathic vets treat sick animals. Furthermore, newborn babies and children respond very well to homeopathy. It is also unlikely that you can truly believe in something until you have witnessed the results.

 

Q4. Are homeopathic remedies tested on animals?

Answer: No testing on animals is ever undertaken. Homeopathic remedies are only tested on healthy fully consenting adults (usually homeopaths themselves).

 

Q5. What does a registered member with the CHC and NASH mean?

Answer: As a registered homeopath I practice by the CHC / NASH Code of Ethics and Practice. I hold professional insurance and have passed stringent academic and clinical assessments.

 

Q6. Would my insurance cover homeopathic treatment?

Answer: The answer to this is best given by your insurance agency. In Europe, insurance companies do cover homeopathic treatement and care. In Asian countries, especially India, insurance is not a requirement. In the US, there is no insurance coverage, however if you have a 'Flex Savings Account' you may get reimbursed. You may also consult your Primay Care Physician if their insurance covers Homeopathic medicines / referrals.

Q7. How does homeopathy get affordable at HHH?

Answer: Most of our clients /patients are from India, we understand the dollar to rupee conversion rate. We also understand how wide spread homeopahty is in India. If your parents are visting and are not earning members of your family, if your spouse is on dependent visa and is not earning in dollars, we try our best to customize your payment to fit your needs. We also provide special offers for students, special needs and unemployed clients. Do not hesitate to contact use due to lack of funds, that is the last thing that you should consider. At HHH we believe "Health comes before Wealth".

 

Q 8. How frequent are the visits?

Answer: The frequency of your visit depends upon your presenting condition. If you have an acute condition, you may have visits every week to 15 days. If you have a Chronic condition your follow-up visits may be monthly or quaterly.

 

For chronic, long standing condtions example vitiligo, diabetes, hypertension, arthritis etc. on an average I have seen this plan to work the best:

 

  • 1st follow-up visit: 7 days after Initial Consult / !st medicinal dose

  • 2nd follow-up visit: 15 days  after 1st follow-up visit

  • 3rd follow-up visit: 1 month following 2nd follow-up visit

  • 4th follow-up visit: 3 months following 3rd follow-up visit. Thereafter 6months to yearly visits.

 

Remember the concept of 'Classical Homeopathy' is 'One dose' treatment, infrequent repetitions and improving your immune system.

 

In acute conditions, such as allergies, acute episode of Asthma, common cold & flu, viral infections, etc. we may request frequent visits.

 

Q 9. How will I be notified about my next visit?

Answer: You will receive an email / text/ call about a week before your next appoitment. A tentative next follow-up visit date will be selected during your visit. If you need to re-schedule or change your dates, you are advised to do so a day in advance to avoid inconvinience to you as well as us. We will not charge you to cancel an appointment at any point of time.

 

Q10. What happens if I discontinue homeopathy treatment OR if I'm not satisfied with the results, can I stop?

Answer: If you discontinue Homeopathy treatment there are no side-effects, addicitions or any kind of harm to your mind or body. Please DO NOT SELF MEDICATE, this may lead to bad effects just like any other mode of treatment.

 

At HHH, upon request, we may provide  you your case-details if you would like to share it with another Homeopath or Physician. One word of advise, if you do not get results with one Homeopath and you do not wish to continue with him/her, do not consider this a homeopathic treatement failure. There are more than 3000 homeopathic remedies that call for a thorough case-taking to get that one remedy which will show effect. I would rather have my clients/patients change Homeopaths than leave homeopathy.
